I am interested in how light defines space, within the landscapes that have been created in prehistory; then impacted by more recent human activity, and how places create different meanings for each person. I use Photofiltre™ software to create complex images sourced from my photographs, to create works of art that are built up and layered in a process that is similar to painting in oils. The placing of the unexpected, sometimes in an alien context, has led me to coin the phrase “digisurrealism” to describe my work.
All prints are archival quality, professionally printed either on aluminium, canvas, or Foamex™. My first work, “Messenger” was exhibited and sold at the MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) at Machynlleth. Recently exhibited at: Harbour Arts No 8 Pershore Artrix, West Midlands MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) Macchynthlleth I also will undertake commisions
